#Help & Advice# Parking Charge Notice with Parking Eye car park solutions

Hi everyone.
Can anyone please help or give some good advice as I'm new to forums and never had any parking fines before and not sure what to do regarding it????????
I recently received a parking charge notice from Parking eye car park solutions, for when I dropped off my brother and one of his elderly fellow British legion colleagues on 19/05/2017 at the Britannia Prince of Wales hotel in Southport.
It has two photos of my vehicle one of entering and the other of leaving the car park with a total time of 24 mins spent in their car park.
They were staying at the hotel due to them attending a parade there for the British Leigon.
My brother is registered disabled and so is his colleague, so when entering the car park I parked close to the main entrance (with his disabled parking badges displayed) in order for me to help them with their luggage.
The hotel staff were having problems checking in regarding their reservations so I stayed for the duration to make sure everything was ok and then Ileftknowing that all was fine.
When receiving this notification 26/05/2017) my wife appealed it as it originally came in her name, to which she then provided all of my details to which they then sent the same letter out to myself just with new issue and to pay by dates on.
I then appealed this (28/062017) stating the reasons above only to receive an email back (04/07/2017) stating that I have been unsuccessful with my appeal and now have to pay or make an appeal through POPLA.
I'm not sure what to do now whether to try and appea through POPLA, as speaking to some people now they say that I have to pay the notice do to me appealing it.
Any help is greatly appreciated :j

Unfortunately you didn't come here first and some of your appeal points like naming the driver have shot some of your toes off.
This hotel is part of the notoriously bad Britannia Hotels Group which is only interested in making its millionaire owner more money.
The hotel manager according to Trip Advisor thinks the company sold the car park to Parking Eye, who are another money hungry bunch of scammers too.
I doubt the land has really been sold to Parking Eye, only the rights to "manage" the parking.
Parking Eye are totally uncaring too apart from when it comes to profit.
Neither company will back down on this but you should apeal through POPLA but only on the correct grounds not mitigation or what happened, on the day.
The newbies thread at the top of the forum will set this out, then come back before you appeal.0 -
