I bought an indisit Tumble Dryer Approx 18 months ago, It came with a years warrenty,
After one month, the jockey wheel broke
After 13 months the Jockey wheel broke
After 17 months the pump has broke.
Luckily I have a nationwide Flexplus Account which gives me an extra years warranty and have claimed two repairs. Is there anything in the sale of goods act that can help me beyond my extra years warranty?

For consumer purchases, since October 2015 it is the Consumer Rights Act that applies.
Have a read of MSE's Consumer Rights guide and then ask further questions.
In there you will see that you have up to six years to seek a remedy from the seller.
As a starter, you only need to accept one repair before being able to reject the thing.
By the way, what's a 'jockey wheel' in this context? I thought they were on caravans and trailers.0 -
At a guess, it's one of the wheels that helps guide the drum belt around the motor spindle. Usually one is fixed and another is on a spring-loaded arm to allow the belt to flex when the drum starts moving.0

It's the wheel that's adjusted to push onto the belt, therefore taking out the slack to provide a more positive friction between the motor, the belt and what it's driving.0

Thanks for the replies guys, will read up on that article0
