Small claims court effect on credit history

Hi, Apologies if this have been answered before on the forum.
My ex-landlord (a lawyer) has threatened to take me to small claims court over tenancy deposit dispute. I would have liked to resolve it via Tenancy Deposit Scheme. However, as I understand it - TDS needs both parties to agree to it. If the landlord doesn't consent to use it and instead goes to small claims court, TDS will not take up the case.
I am ok with having to face him in court, however I am worried about the impact it will have on my credit score.
I have 2 questions:
If the landlord ends up winning (he is a lawyer vs me who has no legal training) -
1) Can the court award him more than the amount he has originally asked for? Ie if he initially asked for 500 GBP, can the court ask me to pay more than that?
2) If I accept and immediately pay whatever the court directs me to pay - does it still go on my credit history/anywhere else?

If you pay a CCJ within 30 days, it doesn't appear on your file.
But it doesn't sound like this is a CCJ.0 -
No they can't demand you pay more than he is asking for. They are likely to take a dim view of him snubbing the ADR process put in place by the deposit protection scheme.0

Thanks. How do I figure if something is CCJ ?0
