Looking for some ideas for a holiday in the last week of July for 2 adults and 2 young kids.

    I'm more outdoors like beaches. The missus more inclined to theme parks and zoos etc. On budget side not too expensive.

    How far do you want to travel?
    Car, rail, bicycle, walk, fly?
    B & B, self catering, hotel, hostel, camping?
    Alton Towers. Scarborough, Brighton, Blackpool, Great Yarmouth, Ilfracoombe, Isle of Wight, Whitley Bay. Very nice places.

    Don't mind about travel
    Car
    Hotel or self catering.

    We'll be going to Scotland after this little holiday to see friends.
