I'm more outdoors like beaches. The missus more inclined to theme parks and zoos etc. On budget side not too expensive.

B & B, self catering, hotel, hostel, camping?
Alton Towers. Scarborough, Brighton, Blackpool, Great Yarmouth, Ilfracoombe, Isle of Wight, Whitley Bay. Very nice places.

We'll be going to Scotland after this little holiday to see friends.
