I don't know if a post got deleted or I just can't see it anymore but 31b on that road for 380k seems like an anomaly I'm not sure why it sold for such a low price0

It's moved agents so you can't see the discount from £1m
Here it is Fortess Road, Kentish Town, NW5
http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-46341030.html
It's nicely done up, but it's got virtually no windows! It's a converted cellar by the looks of it. So, it depends on the tanking to stay dry.
It has lots of space, but little light, and virtually no air or views. The bedrooms have no windows. No escape if there's a fire!
Impossible to value, but somebody will buy it if the price is right. Maybe you?No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Good call on the cellar!
Unsure if this would work - 37 Fortress Road on Google Maps - EDIT: Sorry the google maps link killed the formatting.
If you zoom in on street view, look behind the bus stop. You'll see 2x domed roof - this is the "skylights" from the master bedroom.
According to the floor plan, the kitchen has three strips of glass on the ceiling. I think based on the orientation, these run across the driveway to the side.
Out the back, into the shared courtyard, there is another building on the photos which doesn't correspond to the floorplan so I wonder where that building "comes in" from. Possibly a full house sitting over the flat, and then the house has a lower floor at the back?
No idea as to why the price drop or how that relates to the area at all.0 -

There is no such thing as "discount" when buying a house. There is no list price. A reduction is just a recognition that they were asking the wrong price in the first place.0

From what I can see reductions of around 35% and a corresponding drop in sold prices are pretty routine now for top end London properties, especially flats, it's the quietest and least publicised property crash in history... we wouldn't want to worry the sheep now would we.0

'This is a naturally bright two bedroom apartment that has been renovated to a very high standard'
In every picture the lights are switched on I'd won't say that was naturally bright.0 -

It's not ideal, but it's been nicely renovated, and it's in a popular part of London. It may be quieter because it doesn't have any windows to the front. Somebody will buy it who doesn't mind the drawbacks. The only real question is the price. I'm guessing it will sell for somewhere over £500k, as you can't get much for £500k in that area. I hope they don't pay too much, as it will always be difficult to sell.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Last sold for £379,950 on 19th Jun 2015. Presumably some renovations, so perhaps they just overestimated the value add in the first place and are now vying for a more realistic profit.0
