Apologies if this is in the wrong forum. Mods please free to move.

I am looking to get a new Captur, the new model is released this month, currently the (soon to be) old model is on offer, would I be wise to wait until the dealers want to get rid of the pre-reg cars (old) once the new is released (clear as mud...) and if so, when would that be?

I don't think anyone can specifically answer your questions, since you're trying to predict the future!
The old Captur has lost value because of the new one. You can get one cheap now. How long will you keep it? How much will it be worth then? How much would a newer one be worth?
If you get a good deal now on the old model, you're bound to save more now, than you would lose later vs the new model.
But then you're not driving the shiny new one!

best thing to do would be to contact your local Renault dealer. As they have less and less stock and the new one releases it will probably get cheaper and cheaper... but it's hard to say at what point they will run out. I would say if you're happy with a deal you can get now, go for it.


If the dealer says they have loads of stock of the old cars then you can probably wait for it to come down a little bit, but if they say they're almost out then you might want to jump on it.
