We are in the 30s percent for our mortgage - but it is interest only so a very different proposition than those on a repayment mortgage.
IMHO the interest component of a mortgage should be compared against rent payments because the repayment portion is effectively saving rather than expenditure.I think....0 -
I don't have a mortgage as I own my house outright so none. :j0
