NCP fine John Lennon Airport results

Hi.
I'd like to find out how many people have appealed against unfair parking fines at the BCP car park at John Lennon airport, how you appealed, and what the outcome was?

I've gone through first appeals through their appeal system and it's been rejected. I'm wondering if it is worth while appealing again, or just paying the fine before the time frame for the cheaper charge passes.

  • it is an on-airport car park. Their blarb doesn't state that it is on the boundaries, but it does about other airports, so I'm guessing not.

only you know if you passed the boundry of the airport to access the car park

firstly , it is NOT a "FINE" , its an INVOICE

as for your question, I have been coming here for maybe 5 years and the only JLA threads I have seen are about VCS , not about any other PPC

I have never , never seen any posts about what you are asking , so I would say the answer is ZERO , its never come up , so nobody has posted anything about it , let alone any results

so you wont get an answer because there isnt one, nobody will reply with knowledge because its brand new to the "market"

BCP is a car park booking website, the car park is owned by JLA, the ticket should be from VCS. Is it?

BCP is not an approved/accredited operator of either the BPA or IPC, so you need to be very careful before shooting any cash their way.

As above, please look carefully at the letterhead (or even small print) to determine exactly who has sent this to you. We need to determine who has accessed your details from the DVLA.

Were you booked into this car park in advance (say for a holiday period)? Or did you just turn up for the day to park there? Had you provided details of your VRM and your home address prior to getting this parking charge?

What is the 'transgression' stated on the letter to you? Was it initially a windscreen ticket applied by a parking warden?

Answers to some of the above questions will help us get to the bottom of this and then advise you more specifically.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
