    No reply from the manager.

I'm thinking of throwing in the towel and paying the £60.

What do you rate my chances of getting this cancelled via a POPLA appeal ?
Don't be surprised if no-one here answers any more, if that's what you plan to do.

Please don't fund and sponsor the scam, or you are joining them. Be ashamed to even consider it, even for an 'easy life'.

We are passionate about this scam, you know. I didn't write that letter for fun, or for you to fold.

    Fair point Coupon-mad.

Okay I'll stick it out. I won't pay unless I get called into court ( I don't have the legal knowledge or time to handle that).

Even if you get a claim that doesn't mean you have to or inevitably will have to attend a hearing.

I had a bit of a rant at my running cub chairman and he told me the leisure club has contacted privateEye. Maybe they just didn't tell me as they are unsure what will happen and don't want to give me false hope.

Hopefully will hear back a positive outcome and I'll have learnt to be more patient. :O

So I've not heard back from the velopark owner's directly. They're acting like children and only speaking through my club chairman because I 'upset them' with my 'threats'. So I’m preparing my POPLA appeal.

if it was pay and display , was 2 hours the maximum that anyone is allowed to park there ? (or was 2 hours the time paid for even though people can pay and stay for longer ?)

Yes it's pay and display and 2 hours in the maximum anyone is allowed to stay there.

if the landholder accepted a contract to park (ie: the driver paid and displayed) then using their onsite facilities is not a part of the contract unless the signs say it is

I’m not sure what point is being made here.

ideally , a landholder cancellation is best , and then a strong popla appeal based on facts only , including the BPA CoP rules on landowner contracts , signage etc

I can assure you that 99.9% of the british population are not experets on signage

I’m firmly in the 99%, how do I produce a strong popla appeal based on facts bearing this in mind ?! If I take some photos of the site tomorrow and upload them here can you help ?

    Thanks
