Barclays Coin machines

Which Barclays branches have coin machines near Camden? I have lots of 1p and 2p coins that I would like to have in cash or in my bank account. I understand that some Barclays branches have coin machines, therefore could anyone tell me which branches have them?

Do any Barclays branches have coin machines? - I've never seen one, although to be fair I don't go into branches that often.
May be simpler to get some coin bags and count it out yourself and then do counter credit, where they will check-weigh them. The questions that get the best answers are the questions that give most detail....0 -

If you can get to a Metro Bank store then their Magic Money Machines can be used by non-customers. As I understand it the machine counts the coins and prints a slip to take to the counter to exchange.0 -

Yes, some Barclays do accept coins in their deposit machines, my one in Staines does. If you need one near Camden can't you just call into a branch and check first?0

That would seem sensible advice. It didn't work a couple of years back for members who asked HSBC where their coin deposit machines were. Let's see if Barclays can do better.0

I'm not aware of Barclays having any dedicated high capacity coin deposit machines. The ASC self-serve machines take what's advertised as "a handful" of coins, so don't expect to dump hundreds of pennies. The guidance in most branches is to ask for coin bags which you can take home and fill with the correct amount yourself.: )0

Last time I checked only about 10 or so branches at Barclays had dedicated coin counting machines, they're rather rare. You can do as Flobberchops says and put some of them in the ASC machines, but you won't be able to dump the lot in there in one go.0

Supermarkets charge 10 %, so don't go there.
I've seen them in NatWest, but only to pay into a NatWest account. Maybe you have a friend with a NatWest account, who could "launder" it for you.
Best bet is to call in your local branch, they will know if any nearby ones have them.0 -
I find that building societies, with counter staff and, wait for it, passbooks, come in very handy at times. Yes, it's old fashioned and yes, you have to queue, but they do serve a purpose. They are low-tech, friendly places to go and, if you open a savings account with a cash machine card, you can take (bagged up) coins in to your hearts content. You won't get a great savings rate, but you can talk to someone face to face and it's all very relaxed.
Right, I'm off for my horlicks:DI came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.0 -
