Directions Questionnaire form query

Prior to section A on the directions questionnaire (form N180)
Do I fill in this box:
To be completed by, or on behalf of,
Or do I just leave it blank?
And at the very end of the form where one signs
The bit about legal representative etc..
Do I circle defendant? Or just leave this bit alone.
Excuse my ignorance, I guess it's leave alone on both counts??

do I just send a copy of the completed/signed DQ(form N180) to Civil Enforcement Ltd, any need for a covering letter?0

Completed on behalf of: Defendant
At the end: Cross out legal representative and claimant
The form should be sent to:
(1) CEL unless they have instructed a lawyer, in which case the lawyer AND
(2) the Court
Like everything - its easy, when you know how0 -
oh great! thanks Johnersh
so leave the 1st box empty nothing to write there. The court has already crossed out Claimant and Part 20 claimant and left "Defendant"
And aftersignature box and leave only Defendant.
Just wanted to be 100% clear.
Many many thanks!0 -
Besides sending the DQ to the court by post, would you recommend sending an electronic copy to MCOL also??0

This really should be linked to your OP. The more this thread goes on without context, the more likely the danger of getting either non-relevant, or incorrect advice.
Why did you think it necessary to start a new thread about the same topic? Forum requires one thread only per case.
Please PM a board guide (bottom r/h side of the forum thread list) and ask them to merge. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
