Many people's view of the world is down to their experience, perception and what they have been conditioned to,this isnt any old MSE reply this is a important and experienced MSE reply :rotfl:

It is quite common in Newquay, you can't find a room to let for love nor money in the summer, so employers buy/rent houses there so they can get staff. Otherwise they find they get the staff, but their staff are homeless/living rough so leave.
Even McDonalds a couple of years back bought a load of tents and pitched them on a campsite for a couple of months JUST to be able to attract and keep staff.0 -
Provided the company is solvent and you take the same precautions as you would with an individual, you should be OK.
The company would be responsible for the property, but same inventory, deposit etc. Make sure the tenancy is signed by someone who has the authority to do so.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. I have heard of employers doing this and exploiting immigrants by 'tying' them into the rental and the job, and them ending up paying out almost all their earnings. Some of them 'offer' cars too.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
