Overdraft Question

Options
I've been living in the UK for the last 6 years, but recently a short trip abroad has turned into a bit of an extended holiday.

I have an overdraft with my bank in the UK and this month was the first month I had no salary deposited into my current account and I've noticed that all the bank's pre-approved offers have now been withdrawn from my account.

I'm just wondering if the bank will withdraw the overdraft facility from my account?

I have a couple of direct debits coming from the account and I'm just hoping I can use the overdraft for these until I return to the UK in a couple of months time.

Anyway a long winded question but any advice would be appreciated

Overdrafts are repayable on demand and the fact that you are no longer paying a salary may have set alarm bells ringing in the banks credit department.

You may get away with it.

If you call the bank and tell them what is going on they may well freeze your account.

The best thing would be to try to pay some funds into the account to cover the direct debits so your overdraft isn't increasing from current levels.
