Pofa 2012

Hi,
I am a little confused as what I should do if the PCN from Parkingeye has, from what I can see is, a POFA 2012 compliant PCN, it mentions that after 29 days if the parking charge has not been paid in full the they will come after the keeper of the vehicle (my wife).
Is there a template for this, or do I still not have to give up the drivers name and address?
Thanks for your help.
Mick

never give up a drivers details
its clear you missed reading the NEWBIES sticky thread at the top of this forum
please read it , a few times, until it sinks in0 -
Hi,
I did read the sticky newbie posts and that's the reason I'm asking here, it does not seem clear, if you don't want to answer my question or cannot answer it that is fine but please do not leave ambiguous answers that tell me nothing.0 -
what is the question ?
if it is "is there a template" , then read the NEWBIES sticky thread , then you will know the answer and realise you should not have asked
it really is all in there, so unless you have a different question , please articulate it
as far as I am concerned , your answers are all in that thread, and I did clearly say
PLEASE READ IT , and keep on doing so until it sinks in , and IT IS PERFECTLY CLEAR on what to do, in fact it is extremely clear
and you dont get to decide who gives you a reply or what it contains, by posting on a public forum you get what you are given
my answer was 100% accurate , it was not rude or anything, it also told you exactly what to do and where to find everything you needed and there were no "ambiguous answers" either0 -
As above, please re-read the NEWBIES thread then send the relevant template you will find there.
The NEWBIES thread was written to avoid questions like, do I name the driver or not, or, is there a template. That information IS already in the NEWBIES so if you have to ask, you haven't read it, or read it enough for the information to sink in.
You won't do it in a single pass so you need to sit down with a brew or beverage of your choice and read it until you start to understand how the unregulated scam industry works, and how to beat the scammers.I married my cousin. ps , you have not received a PCN , your wife has received it , in the post , because SHE is the registered keeper , legally it has nothing to do with you at this point in time
so the answer to your possible question is
get your WIFE to read the NEWBIES sticky thread and tell HER to follow the BPA advice contained in that thread, at this moment in time , post #1 , then later , post #3
and as mentioned
should the DRIVER be named ? = NO , definitely not unless there is an extremely good reason for doing so (there rarely is unless a divorce is going through or has happened)
is there a template for this ? = YES, there is definitely one in that thread you have read0 -
As above, the template is 'one size fits all', merely to get a POPLA code (or early cancellation, if for example you can show recipts or a bank statement proving patronage of shops).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
