Balance transfer question

I have transferred my Lloydstsb credit card balance to a virgin 0% interest credit card. The tranferred balance appeared on my virgin online statement yesterdayt (dated 03/10/2007) but is still showing on my Lloyds online statement today. How long will it take for my LLoyds credit card balance to clear? Thank you.

I was just concerned that the same balance appears on two separate credit card accounts (Lloyds and Virgin). So will the 'balance owing' remain in my lloyds tsb credit card account for up to 10 days even though it has already transferred to my Virgin one?

I would have thought that it would have cleared when the payment has been made. Not having done this myself, I would imagine that if you check again in the next day or so it will have cleared....

Remember a balance transfer is simply a bacs *payment* sent from one card to another card.

You're seeing an outstanding on your Virgin card bcos the payment has left the account and sent to LTSB, hence you now owe it as the money has left the card. This money can take up to 7 working days to reach LTSB. Hence it will still be showing on the LTSB balance until they receive the payment.
