popla appealed instead of IPC

On May the 25th I received a NTK by TNC parking services (who is a BPA member). On June 15th I appealed CPS Midlands Ltd (the car park manager) in writing (as the NTK instructed) using the POPLA template recommended on the forum (stating that NTK was in excess of 56 days - original alleged contravention is 23/11/2016).
Received a response from CPS Midlands on June 29th saying that they are IPC members and not BPA, which I failed to notice - the NTK had the BPA logo at the bottom, although the wording did say "non POFA"...
How should I progress my case?
1) Respond to their letter using the "Template appeal for IPC members - copy this wording into the online appeal box or into an email" from the sticky treat - but in the post
2) Ignore their letters? (CPS midlands has had 0 court cases in 2015-2017 - based on on BMPA insights) - I'm still getting letters from both CPS midlands and TNC...
3) Pay them and just move on with life? I find it really deceiving though that TNC is a BPA member but they are collecting money on behalf of CPS who isn't...
It's the first time I'm doing this - never received a NTK before. I wish I found the newbies tread earlier, I just read it today, I think I read an older tread before - and CPS midlands have since then switched being BPA members..
Can post all correspondence here if it is useful..
Thanks,

Just ignore them. They can't hold a keeper liable.
Come back if they try a small claim (TNC cannot, debt collectors are toothless).
But complain - NOW - to the DVLA by email, that they have allowed TNC to obtain/buy your data six months after an alleged parking event, far later than any parking firm would be allowed to. Really rant about it and state that it is high time that the terrible DVLA loophole should be firmly closed that allows random 'debt collectors' to farm keeper data after several months, to serve a very late Notice to Keeper out of the blue, at a time when the PPC is too late to do so.

Say nothing about who was driving. Rant as keeper about the six months gap being unacceptable by the DVLA.

Thanks Redx and Coupon-Mad. Will complain to DVLA tomorrow.
If I move house and should they send an "MCOL" how will they know where to send it? Do the courts rely on the electoral register to get up to date addresses? Will they be able to hold me to account for not telling them my new address?
I won't mind not receiving their spam but would like to know if I need to prepare against a claim.0 -
If you move,
1, use mail redirect for up to a year.
2, tell the scammers the new address of the keeper, after informing the DVLA as well of course, twice. Once for your driving licence and once for the vehicle V5.
The courts won't go looking for the defendant. The scammers will only use the last known address they get from the DVLA, although the IPC at least now say the scammers should check on the latest address if they want to issue court papers more than a year after the alleged event. I'm not sure if the BPA members are required to do the same.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Yep, the scammers will use the same address for victims for years, hoping you've moved and they can get a default CCJ.
Nasty stuff - I hope the Supreme Court are proud of the can of worms they opened.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
