Freesat ..multiple duplicate channels ..

How do,I get rid of them on my humax HDR-1100s ?
Loads of BBC 1/2 etc

Channel numbers or is it in non-Freesat mode?

Are they different channel numbers, where each channel is a different region? (i.e. each may have different regional content at certain times).

Sorry folks , I should've been more clearer.
The channels on the humax freeesat have lots of BBC/ itv programmes with exactly the same programmes .
The channels seem to be in bunches .
Plus the channels seem to be all over the place .

101-104 = Normal terrestrial then duplicates pop,up,etc
Also lots of the duplicates are in the 900 numbers

Are the duplicates not as someone pointed out earlier, a different BBC1 for another part of the country ?

101& 106 are both BBC 1 for example

No no 101 is BBC SD(regional) 106 is BBC HD, 103 ITV SD(regional) 111 ITV HD etc...

The 900 range channels are generally regional versions of channels found elsewhere, and should be labelled as such in your EPG. This was always the case when I used a Humax Freesat box.

You've got SD, HD and plus 1 on many channels, I think you can set up favourites as you can with Sky but I don't bother with either of my 1100s boxes.

101 BBC 1 SD (regional)
102 BBC 2 HD
103 ITV 1 SD (regional)
104 Ch4 SD
105 Ch5 HD
106 BBC 1 HD
111 ITV 1 HD
126 Ch4 HD
---
950 - 967 BBC 1 regional
968 - 971 BBC 2 regional
972 - 973 BBC 1 HD regional
974 Ch4
975 Ch4 + 1
976 BBC 1 HD regional
977 ITV 1
978 BBC 1 HD regional

Just use the ones you want ignore the rest. Or on my box you can hide them, RTM.
