Will Standing order to Closed Lloyds account bounce back?

Recently had 2 Lloyds Reg Savers mature, accounts emptied and closed.
Silly me forgot to a) only set up the S/O for 12 payments, and then b) forgot to cancel the S/O completely.
So Lloyds are showing 2 x 250 going to closed accounts.
Will this just bounce back automatically, or do I need to ring them??

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)

I'm sure they will bounce back automatically. If they haven't appeared in the originating account tomorrow I would ring Lloyds.
Did you definitely close them. The RS accounts automatically mature into some easy access account with the same account number but I think Lloyds have recently made it easier to close them online.0 -
Yep, closed completely on line. Will check on line later this afternoon, as hopefully the money will have reappeared! How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)0

Wait a couple of days and the money will reappear in your current account and there'll be a letter in your inbox saying they've transferred the money back.
I've forgot before.0 -
Just checked, and yes, they have both bounced back. Phew. (no message though)
Hopefully won't make that mistake again!!!
