Highview always crumble when they see an MSE forum appeal because they know it will cost them money to continue.
It doesn't matter when you submit the appeal, it's just that so far the quickest cancellation has been 2 hours after the appeal has been submitted, so we are just trying to see if anyone can beat that.

From personal experience, I got 2 Highview tickets cancelled no bother. On one, I did a single point "out of time" appeal as they missed the deadline. No problem.
Court cost them money, POPLA costs them money and they would lose more than they could gain if they went to court with a dodgy claim.
I actually admire their pragmatism, if not their efficiency. They are there to make money, not pyrrhic victories.0 -
