Afternoon all. Am I really the first to post today?

Yesterday disappeared in a rush of dog viewing (not one for us), visiting a friend, and putting everything back in the tool cupboard which we'd had to empty and move for the plumber. DH was hoarding a load of rusty old screws which he'd kept when we demolished a home-made bed which was included in the sale of this house. I have said very firmly that they are all going to the tip! We've also decluttered some paint roller trays and other decorating bits which can go to the charity shop.

This morning I have been cleaning off the decking, prior to re-oiling it later this afternoon or tomorrow. I suddenly realised that I couldn't do it with DGS3+4 here, or with a new dog. The damp areas under the pots are drying out fast  It's hard work, and very warm. My poor garden is parched :(

I've also done WMx1 and put away yesterday's dry washing.

I still need to clear the back bedroom aka my study and make up the bed and cots for DGSs.

    Catch up later x

mmm thread seems the least busy it's ever been since I've been here.

Have ironed, pegged out more and am trying to shift stuff (DDs uni stuff) to where it will cause me less stress and do various 'bitty' jobs I have been waiting for time to do.

Ans I MUST get a watch battery sorted this afternoon. And go to Sav3rs.

Afternoon all. Busy day here. Walked dogs. Nipped into town with DH to get some bits, then back home to sort out broadband issues, then down to local church for their open day and then on to bowls.

DH is now cooking me tea. Still need to walk the dogs again and water the gardens.

Hope you're all ok. Have a great evening.

Nipping by to report a triumph - Belgian lace dress I thought was ruined has been successfully rescued - thanks to Dyl0n SOS Colour Run Remover.
Note to self - do NOT allow DH anywhere near my hand-washed clothes in future, specially when one item runs better than Usain Bolt.

Gotta dash - Cassie-dog has been fed, but Mr LW is looking decidedly hungry - which will mean grumpy if I don't deal with it pronto.

    Excellent work Lamewolf!

I've clenaed the bathroom and was fed up with the grubby-looking pumice stone - so I have had it in a dilute bleach solution, now got it outside finishing off in the sunshine. Much better.

Managed to find the GUAG to nip into town. Watch battery replaced. One of 3 pairs of shoes (Clarks sale *cof*) returned. More shoes taken to cobblers for new heel tips. Sav3rs visited. I:heartpuls that shop.

Nothing achieved here.. I spent the afternoon in bed feeding the baby.. and I watered plants, folded 1 load of laundry hung out 3 wet loads and scrubbed the paddling pool. I did dinner for the masses.. fish and rice to give me a dodgy tum (and massive wind ;) ) chicken and salad for larges and small sausages and potato blobs for the smalls and slop for Twinkle as she refuses to eat actual food.

I really need to get my act together, we have Pixies home visit for starting school... yes school!!!!.. next week and I dont have a single presentable room in the house!

    Evening!

Been out most of day but still managed to make a mess in kitchen :o all sorted now.

Went to get more flooring plus new door plates and a runner. Must stop spending now...

Been sat in a beer garden most of afternoon - party. Nice chat with friends as kids played on the bouncy castle. Glorious weather :)

    Tomorrow is football and gardening!

    Evening all,

I've noticed it's quite quiet on here as well Valli compared to a few years ago. Do you think it's because people are so busy these days, or because people don't know this fantastic page is here, or something else??

Another relaxed day here today, dailies done, then out for a 'baby and toddler' storytelling session at a NT property with friends, with a relaxed lunch and run round the garden with 3 bonkers toddlers!!

Pasta dinner so that Little Miss would actually eat some dinner! Then relaxed evening for once.

Hugs, sticks and spoons where required xx
