Advice required - new evidence after POPLA decision

Hi,
Earlier this year I had an appeal on a fine - not registering vehicle details when using hotel car park as a customer- rejected by both Parkingeye and POPLA. At the time I wasn't able to provide a receipt as proof of being a customer, but this has since come to light.
I've supplied it to both Parkingeye and the hotel (Holiday Inn) who have both now recognised I was a customer at the time in question. However PE are still pursuing the fine and will only say that this is due to the POPLA decision being against me.
This seems entirely unreasonable given the POPLA decision was made without this new evidence, which was exactly what PE initially stated as being sufficient to cancel the fine.
Wanted to check if anyone had experience of this situation and advice on what I should do.
Cheers

You must put pressure on the hotel to get it cancelled.
Otherwise expect this to escalate as pe do like court0 -
The POPLA decision is not binding on you, you should go back to the hotel and get them to tell their prize chimps to cancel the invoice (it isn't a fine).
After all it's the hotel that put your VRN on a whitelist when you register, so they can still get the charge cancelled, though it may be in their contract with PE they have to pay them £10 to do it.0 -
I've pressured the hotel to do this, but they say they have taken it as far as possible. Given the matter has gone to POPLA they say they can do nothing more to get PE to cancel.0

Don't accept that.
You were a paying customer.
Start making waves and get it escalated to someone with clout0 -

if they cannot or will not cancel, get a witness statement from the hotel manager or CEO etc, in writing , signed and dated, stating that they do not want this pursued through the courts and want it cancelled , explaining that as a paying customer you were entitled to park there
this would go a long way to swaying a judge in court
never take NO for an answer0 -

Either they are lying or the hotel has a really crap contract with the parking scammers..
Keep on at the hotel and don't let up. Leave negative feedback on social media, trapadvisor, and their website if they have one.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
They can get it cancelled, although PE might want £60. Escalate the complaint to the Manager above the person who has been replying to you/Head Office. Insist this is cancelled or you will be going to the National papers.
You really should have complained to the Hotel at the start. Constantly amazed people need to be told to complain to landowners in these cases. If any other Hotel contractor tried to scam you out of £100 odd you'd complain in minutes!
Same goes for retail parks, every week have actually have to suggest people complain to the retailer (obviously...).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
