unlicensed vehicle i have one day HELP

Hi. I move out and i forgot to pay tax 2 months ago. I ask couple peoples and they said that i can fk it becouse its not worth to pay 100£ first day and 200£ second day and 21£/day on parking. So i had this in !!! becouse car wos worth 500£. But right now they send me a letter that i have to pay 124.
We have received an offence report alleging that 12.07 on 23.05.2017 the above... being kept whillst unlicenced.
This relates to section 29 offence of keeping a vehicle and separate to fees paid to the agencys wheel clamping .
.A. if you were the keeper on the date of alleged offence an out of court settlement of 124£ is required to avoid court action. You mast also complete 1 and 4 part overleaf. Please make cheque or postal order to dvla and returt letter by 03.07.17 if we do not received payment the agency take court action against tou.
B. If you were not the keeper......
Fsilure to provide this inf is an offence. A court may impose a max fine 1000 .

What to do? Pay it and sent this and it will be all. Becouse my car right now should be distroyed and many people said to me that if whey do this. I dont have to pay. But the letter came so what right now?
I heard that if i didt pay tax and they take car and distroyed i dont have to worry about anything becouse they kill this car right now im confused

This letter came 16 .06 but i wos in Poland so i didnt know about it. And 23.05 came other letter that if i didnt collect this car by 15.06 will be disposed.

So the car was disposed of on the 15th June?
The fine still applies. If you don't pay, it will go to court and more costs will be added. Pay up before the costs go up.

Yep. 15th. But post offoce is closed. And tommoroq is 3rd so if i pay tommorow money will arrive the same day but the letter no. So anyway the court will start work. Or no? How much i can get fine if i wil be late 1 or 2 days?

I would put a cheque in the post: They shouldn't take action if the letter is posted on the 3rd, but I wouldn't leave it any longer.
