At the present time I have a Humax 9300T and I record Freeview programmes on that. It has been playing up lately (rushing through maybe 30 secs of programme during playback... erratic behaviour when using remote etc).) I have cleared everything, re-formatted the hard drive etc following advice from Humax but to no avail and have now decided to get EE TV as they are my isp and will include a PVR.
At the moment my aerial is plugged into the Humax and from there to the TV. I only have two HDMI slots on the tv and one is used by the DVD Player.
I have a fair number of programmes on the Humax that I would like to view occasionally but I do not want to record on it any more - I will use the EE box for future recording.
Do I need to link the two PVR's with Aerials, ie into the EE , from there to the Humax and then the tv, or can I just connect to the EE and TV together as I am only using the Humax for playing programmes already recorded.
Your advice would be appreciated

If you don't intend recording anything else on the humax, it may not need an ariel feed at all. I was going to say that it probably does no harm to just include it in the chain, but if you turn the humax off at the wall when it's not in use, that might interrupt the ariel feed - I can't remember if it's an active or passive feed-through. (My in-laws have an older humax, and it doesn't forward the ariel signal when it is fully powered off.)
My humax 9200 has scart output. You don't say how your 9300 is conntected to the TV, but I'm guessing it's the same since you seem to imply you have one spare hdmi input (which the eetv would use).
You can get external hdmi switches which would allow you to switch between sources.0
