Perhaps the Nhs ones are a lot more effective because they are more expensive?0

I assume the 1700 was £. So you both just gave up on £1700?0 -

If you bought the NHS one privately, what would it have cost?0 -
If they were "rubbish" and didn't work why did they sit in a drawer? would it not have been better to take it up with Boots? It's a lot of money simply to write off.0

Boots offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on their hearing aids, which should have been more than enough time to decide whether really be enough time to decide whether your husband wanted to keep them or not. If you feel you were misled on that guarantee, then put in a complaint straight away. But if you were not misled, than it's probably unfair to expect Boots to agree to refund after all this time.0
