Shower question (plumbing)

At present I'm in a 1940s semi which I plan to get refurbed, I am running a reliable gravity fed CH system.
However as part of the refurb I was going to consider an unvented CH system, my question is.... if I have the water cyclinder replaced will I still need a pump for a mixer shower, the mixer head will be above the outlet of the water cyclinder.
I am hoping the hot water would hae near the same head and pressure as the water mains incoming to the property.

No you will not need the shower pump. You will need to check if any of the cold outlets are fed from the cold feed tank in the loft. If they are then you would need to check there suitable for main pressure.

At present all the taps are direct from the mains inlet.

Yeah so you wouldn't need the shower pump, the hot taps will be mains pressure with a unvented cyclinder, it would most likely need a 22mm cold main supply to the cyclinder.

It won't be me fitting the system, it will be an official plumber.

Yes I will be looking out for that, I know I don't want a combi system, I'm hoping the cylinder can go in the same location as the existing one in the bathroom.
