3 months since my last post. A few things have been happening.

I started an AirBnB in my home. I'm on a single mattress in my office / spare bedroom and the guests have my double bed in the main bedroom. It's going ok so far, definitely bringing in some much needed money.

Work at my main job is going ok I guess, hours have gone down again. Glad I started the AirBnB now as the money is needed more than ever now.

Divorce is progressing I guess. EX and I agreed to a mutual consent divorce, so it will be a quicker and cheaper process. Still going to cost enough though.

We have agreed that I will take over the house and mortgage, and I will give EX half of the equity. EX did say I can have a year from when he moved out to pay him his half, so that gives me some time to save or arrange a loan for his half.

Just waiting now to find out if the bank will agree for me to take over the mortgage in just my name. I have saved almost half of the cost to get the house registered into my name. I'm hoping the bank will allow me to add a bit extra onto the mortgage to borrow the rest of this fee.

As usual I have a list of things to do and never seem to find the time to do them, what with working, the AirBnB and my part time business. I'm sure everything will work out ok in the end though. :):):)

    Today has been a NSD.

Need to pay the city tax bill, will do that tomorrow as soon as I get home from work.

Went out to visit a friend for a few hours today , then came home and folded the bedding for the AirBnB and put the next lot in the machine.

Managed to cross one or two things of my never ending ToDo list. Making the most important a priority and the rest can wait until I get to them or they become a priority.

Going to spend the rest of the evening on my side business.

Great work with airbnbing! I'd love to rent out my flat on weekends if I'm away but my mortgage company doesn't allow it and it's only a one bedroom flat so I don't have a spare room. :(
