Wages for Work #1 has hit the bank account.
Wages for Work #2 should be in the bank tomorrow.

Need to wait for payslips before I can do the money shuffle though.

    Payslips arrived, money shuffle done.
Have moved some money to the mortgage pot and some to the 3-6 months EF. Wanted to send some money to pensions, but trying to save as much spare money as we can over the next 5 months, to ensure we can cover bills when our contracts end.

Money earned from my S/E business won't receive that until next month though.

Feels like money has been going out left right and centre.

Car insurance here is crazy prices, we paid €280 for just basic insurance, no fire and theft included in this price. Fire and theft is only available if you buy fully comprehensive. Which we do want/need as the car is just 3 years old and we have had it for 2 years.
We had to €500 odd for this part.

We are also visiting the UK next month for a wedding, so needed to pay for 1 nights hotel and travel. Cost of the tunnel was not so cheap, due to s traveling in the holidays and the day we are traveling back.

Managed to get locked out of my account. Password was apparantly incorrect.:mad: Managed to get back in again :j:jusing the incorrect password:mad:

Have also been over to the UK for a wedding, stayed with family the 1st night we got there. The night of the wedding we stayed at the hotel of where the wedding took place. Very nice place, but expensive for the bride and groom. Back home the day after. Long drive to the Tunnel and another long drive this side.
Had a few more days left of our holidays to recover from the quick but long trip over.
Will be glad to go back to work tomorrow for a rest :rotfl: Think both hubby and I am just glad to be back in a routine. Works not so great but the routine is.

Since we have been home, we have done the monthly shopping, paid the cable bill.

YNAB says we have a large amount of money not yet budgeted, need to wait for the pay slips to arrive this week, then we can do the money shuffle.

So much has happened in this last year :(
Will try and keep it short :rotfl:

DH and I both got made redundant in August :( Both losing 32.5 hours each.

I managed to pick up a few hours a week and have been building up my hours since September. One of the jobs I got will probably only last until September, but am doing what I can while I can.
DH managed to pick up a few hours over the last few months, so that helped a bit. DH managed to get a small amount of benefits, but not much. I wasn't able to get any, as I had picked up too many hours to be able to get help (Insert Rolley eyes) Even though my hours were still less than I had lost.
DH and I started arguing, and things got stressful. Things wern't the greatest before this as DH was struggling with his MH and this caused even more problems. So we decided to split up.

The last 2 months have been tough, trying to find a place for DH to move to and then all the extra work needed to arrange the move and move him out. DH moved out 2 weeks ago. We seem to be getting on so much better now, we are staying friends but can't be together :(

Half day of work today :) While I made the most of not working this morning does mean I lose half a days pay :(

Managed to do plenty so I didn't waste my morning off.

Downstairs back windows washed, they needed it badly. ;);)
Chicken curry made for dinner and extra made for the freezer. I've run out of freezer boxes and there is still more curry left to freeze :rotfl:
Need to do a small top up shop tomorrow, so will pick up some boxes then.

    No money spent today :T

Time to work on my online business and try and earn a few extra €€€

Another half day of work ;) While i'm enjoying the extra time off this week, I won't be enjoying it so much when I get paid.

Small top up shop done today. €15 odd spent was slightly over budget, but wanted some more freezer pots. Extra curry from yesterday now in the freezer. 5 portions now in the freezer, 1 each week for the next few weeks. :j

Was going to go to Ikea to buy a bookcase since Ex took his one. Managed to talk myself out of it for now as it was a want rather than a need. My books have a space in a cupboard, just wanted to see them on display :rotfl::rotfl:

So I took a trip to IKEA :rotfl: after all. Bought a bookcase I wanted :jalso bought a new cupboard for my home office :T plus other things that were wants not needs :D I had the money in the budget for my wants, so at least I only managed to use that money. There is still a few €€ left in the pot for that. Just wanted to make the house feel more mine with things I wanted and not our purchases. Think I have all I wanted now.

Also needed some new underwear and socks, so I bought a few extra pairs, Most of this money came from the clothes budget. I was €1.10 over budget, but don't seem myself needing anything more this month or next, so I borrowed it from next months money :rotfl:

Shopping budget still in budget even though I bought freezer pots last week. Have €5.15 to get through until 4th May when I do my next big monthly shop. Think I will be okay as I don't need much, just salad things I think. Will see Saturday when I do this weeks top up.
