Should we hide our number plate when posting pics online?

As a current buyer of a new second hand vehicle, I immediately ignore any that have been blanked out. I have no issue with the fact people feel as though I might clone their number plate, however I also have the right to feel sceptical as to why they've blanked the plate out.... and whether it's because the car is clocked through the roof etc.
I've recently viewed a car where that was the case.0 -
If you're selling it, include the reg number because people are going to ask for it anyway and you want to maximize the chance of a sale.
If you're just posting a photo online, then it wouldn't hurt to obscure it.0 -

You cannot see the MOT history by clicking "check this cars past". The only option you have is to pay for a full HPI check.
