I am making some progress, someone brought in an AC router, it has a wireless bridge mode, it was able to see the FON signal and connect to it, it then retransmitted it over AC or N.
The only problem is that there seem to be two Fon routers around here, when it connected to the better one we can deliver 4mb to 5mb but when it finds the weak one, connection speed is dire.
I have no way to disinquish between one and another, I can tell the difference by the signal strength.
The only downside is we can't seem to use the 4 lan ports in the router,
Bit more tweaking to do, going to flip it between Wireless N and AC
Tomorrow I am going to see if combining both channels helps or hinders.
Thanks for help!0 -
Is the Fon signal transmitted in AC in the first place? I know my Fonera router only uses N on 2.4 Ghz and I'm pretty sure the BT Fon signal is broadcast in N on 2.4 Ghz too.0

Yes it is an AC signal, I flipped it around and is mega, good signal in all the places we need it.
Now getting around 8mb, also the line is staying up much longer (before kept cutting off).
I have not tested O2, I think will see how well the BT one works.0
