Homebase Spend & Save Card - WARNING

Hi All!

Just checking on what's what, with this card, 'cos it'll be used again, once we move into our new place. (Not happened yet!!)

OK, so we probably all know, that you can get as much as 10% back in vouchers, depending on the amount you spend, each 'personal' year. You need it to total £400 to = 10%.

But what I DIDN'T realize, was the points only build up on a total individual spend of £750. So if you bought a kitchen, or bathroom, or lots smaller items & the TRANSACTION was more than this, you'll loose out, potentially.

So best think about making seperate purchases, even done at the same time, but to keep each one below £750!!

Hope it makes sense!

We got a 20% off voucher from Homebase when we moved. I've heard others have too. Not sure if its through Royal Mail or through having a Homebase card (can't remember...but it was definitly for moving house). Came in very handy, so keep an eye out once you're in your new pad!
