Boot Sales in Lancashire

We are planning to visit my OH family in Lancashire in a few weeks and they want to go booting.

Can anyone recommend a Saturday/Sunday boot sale within a 30 mile radius of Burnley?

Many thanks

For something a bit different to a carboot, Ashton market has a non-pro table-top sale on a Sunday. On the last Sunday of the month it doubles up with a farmers' market too.
Plus there's the rest of Ashton town centre to see.
There are quite a few good markets around Lancashire, Bury, Bolton, Oldham, Ashton, Stockport all have markets on a Saturday. Bury is arguably the best, especially if you have a hankering for black pudding! There's also more to see in all those town centres, including museums and libraries.
