Freeware to convert text to mp3?

    just to let you know that I have downloaded Speakonia from:

    It can convert text to speech and also save the file as a .wav audio file

    It is freeware but you need to register with an email address if you want to be able to save audio files.

    Speech is a bit mechanical but it is a free option.

    You will need to convert the .wav file to mp3 but there seems plenty of freeware programs to do this

    Shareware is a limited version of the program that usually has adverts bugging you to buy the full version.

    Freeware is completely free software.

    You can but not through MSE.:eek:

    You need to be VERY careful if you go down that route. There is so much Freeware available it probably isn't worth the risk.

    If you want to listen to the text, i think the only method is converting text to mp3 format, then play the mp3 in your mp3 player, you can use some software for the converting. such as: TextAloud,YeoSoft Text to MP3 Speaker
    and so on.

    shareware is usually a free demo prog for say 30 days, then you pay a small fee to continue to use it.
    some are limited use progs until you pay up. ie you cant save files or summat.

    freeware is what it says.
    Get some gorm.
