I would really appreciate some urgent assistance I am currently having to extend my property as I Ama. carer for my disabled brother and he stays with me a lot more, in order to meet his needs I am looking to add a single storey extension on the back of my home.
However we have one major problem we have no access from the back of our home , a neighbour has kindly send we can use his back access but builders are reluctant to quote because of this.
I am now at a loss and have been looking into pre built/ fabricated extensions that can be added onto the back of the home easier, can anyone recommend and companies in North Manchester that can do this sort of build for us as well as the excavation work .
I would really appreciate any assistance I'm based in Manchester

I'm going back a few years now, but when my sister was able to go on to home dialysis the NHS built a pre-fab type extension to our parents' house. It had proper foundations, and was obviously fitted with electricity, water and heating. It was big enough for a hospital sized bed, dialysis machine, sink, etc but would have been just big enough for a small bed and toilet/shower room if divided.
Assuming that the NHS sub-contracts this out, it may be worth ringing the renal ward of your local hospital to ask if they can put you in touch with a building company?
My parents didn't live a million miles from you at the time.0
