Standard Life PPI

Hello, newbie here,
In the late 90's I took out a Standard Life Endowment Mortgage. The interest part of the loan was taken out with the Woolwich, which then became Barclays I think. I have since moved house several times and the endowment is now not linked to my property but I am still paying in as a savings policy. I never thought I would be entitled to a PPI claim but have been told recently by a few people that it's likely that I will have a claim. When I looked into the MSE claim site there was no option to choose Standard Life. Is it likely that I will have a claim and if so, why is Standard Life not an option on the MSE site?

Because an endowment policy is not PPI.

    You have been misinformed.

Which is correct. Endowment policies are not PPI.
but have been told recently by a few people that it's likely that I will have a claim.

Ask these people how a policy that is not PPI can possibly have a PPI complaint.

That is because Standard Life is a life assurance company. It never retailed PPI.
