help to buy isa? Instead of regular saver then.

Ive opened a LISA with Skipton, and managed to deposit full years allowance of 4k in one go which is good. I had some money given to me by my nan when she passed, i used some to pay rest of debts off and had around 8k left towards a deposit for house. Put 4k in mine and missus has also opened one with other 4k in.

Its been a good week this one :D

  • It is a wonderful feeling to be debt free as we got into £37000 debt by 2007 and it took 9 years of plodding on at our age then of 60 and 64 .
Thanks to this site for helping us with advice about balance transfers and doing without holidays.
If we can do it as pensioners anyone can.
