Hi
New to this. I have just received my Halifax Clarity card. Question if I use the card to pay for a villa in Malta that is priced in Euros will I incur any charges? I should point out i will pay from the UK not in Malta. I intend to pay off the card in full at the payment date. Thanks for any advice.

No. Interest isn't charged on purchases if you always pay in full, only cash withdrawals.

Make sure you tell them to charge you in Euros.

As long as the owner or agent or website charges your Clarity card in euros, conversion will be at the ideal MasterCard rate without any fees.
