Duplicated Buildings Insurance
clartins
I've just discovered that my elderly in laws are both paying the same company for their home insurance. My mother in law is paying for buildings insurance and my father in law has buildings and contents cover. I have yet to find out how long this has been going on for, possibly over 10 years. Has anyone been in a similar situation and what do you think the chances are of getting any type of refund are in this situation?

Send copies of the duplicate policies proving the duplicated years and ask ( nicely) for a refund0
