For your info, you have upto six years to take the matter to court so there is no immediate rush on the court side. You should concentrate on the Ombudsman as this is a free service to you and tends to side with the customer rather than the Insurer.
When you speak to the Ombudsman again, make it clear you made a form of complaint to the Insurer when you asked them to review the decision. Also point out to the Ombudsman that the Insurer did not draw your attention that you could complain to the FOS and any timescale you must complain in.0 -
Thank you so much. I contacted the ombudsman again yesterday, they now have all the information that I have so hear's hoping.
