I worked the full hours - I did but they said 'money issues'

1st september 2015 to last wednesday...

Still doesn't add up to £48k. How have you arrived at it?

(EDIT: Wrong for reasons stated above)

It would be helpful if you put the correct date in the first post.

There has to be more to this story than you're telling us. No one would willingly work 40 hours a week for £250 a month, or over six months for £500 in total!

I did it because I liked working there and seemed to be respected. I never really did it for the money

    What did you live off?

Have you not heard of the minimum wage?
  • APOLOGIES OP - just realised you've worked since Sept 2015 not 2016 as I read it!

    So 48k sounds better.

But how didn't you realise for over 18 months? Weren't you suspicious?

(EDIT: Didn't notice IamWales had already commented on this!)

I am sorry, but like the others, this all makes absolutely no sense at all. Nobody likes their job that much that they do a job for almost no pay for eighteen months. And nobody fails to notice that they should have been paid / paid more, to the tune of £,000's over eighteen months.

That is what it said - OP changed it!

I know! I was slow on the uptake when IamWales referred to the "correct dates"!

I wish posters would make edits more clear - I try to.

I can also see why so many opening posts are quoted in full...

This has to be another wind up.

    Agreed .
If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

I was also wondering that! It certainly lacks credence.
