PPI on mortgage

Hi, I took out PPI for my mortgage through a Financial Advisor 17 years ago (he also arranged my mortgage and life cover for it). At the time I would have been paid sick pay for 3 months. I cancelled it after approx. 10 years (thought I had cancelled it before but cancelled 'wrong' policy!) The PPI was with Norwich Union (now Aviva). My question is could I have a claim against them?

Excellent. This indicates the advice you were given to take it out was good.My question is could I have a claim against them?
Nothing you have said indicates any issues.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0 -
