Getting a refund from KwikFit for dodgy tyre replacement

Options
Just got two new tyres fitted yesterday by Kwikfit and one has already gone flat!

Just called out the RAC, if it is to do with a dodgy fitting (e.g. beading not done properly) how easy would it be to get my money back off them?

Just wondering if anyone has any similar experience with something like this, from looking around online it doesn't seem promising.

Go back get them to refit the tyre if the RAC inflating it for you hasn't reseated the bead. You're not going to get a refund.

Why do you want your money back? As above, just take it back and get them to fit it correctly.
  • Thanks, I'll wait for what the RAC say and take back it to Kwikfit. A bit annoying as I have to use it for work!

If the car has alloy wheels it could be corrosion on where the tyre seats on the wheel, causing an uneven surface and the air to escape. If that's the case the wheels need refurbishing or maybe they could put some sealer on the wheel bead - which sometimes work, either way the fault is due to your wheels and not their tyres.

    Dodgy OP post!

Could be a number of reasons for going flat.
