Parking in Leeds City Centre Weekdays

Cheap parking? City Centre? Not two terms you ususally find in the same sentence.
Wouldn't it be cheaper for you to park at one of the last train stations before Leeds and buy a return ticket?
For example, Woodlesford to Leeds day return is £3.70. Do you think you could find all-day city centre parking for that price?0 -
Depends which side of Leeds you are coming from I always used to park in the old Tetleys brewery car park - one of the cheapest t £6 a day (3 years ago might be more now, I used to buy a week at a time for a discount) Think there was a couple cheaper at the time, about £5 a day or so but so easy to get back on the 621 it was worth it.
Thinking about it I remember most people I worked with were parking north of park row and paying less then me, cant remember where exactly but from what they said it was a bit of wasteland and crime was a problem.0 -
Not sure how much they are but there are a couple down Whitehall Road East, walking distance from Park Row and I'd imagine cheaper than anything more central. As above though, it's not cheap and there are probably better options. Where will you be living?0

Parking in Leeds City Centre is an absolute joke, though I can usually get a good few hours from the Trinity Leeds multi-storey but if you're going to be working everyday then that'll add up pretty quickly!
There's a park and ride bus service available from Elland Road, though I'm not sure about pricing but I can't imagine it's ridiculous, and you'll get into the centre quite fast. And I once parked in a car park next to Halfords (Just off the M621) (I'm not sure how familiar you are with the city centre) which is about £4 per day I think0 -
I've been to Leeds once for a day conference, the parking was abysmal, I ended up on a side street on the hospital site, not a marked parking bay, but out of the way and not blocking anything.0

That has now gone up to about £5.50 i think, as i use it if i need to go to the office, and we get it free.
There is a new park and ride in Cross Green now just off the M1 depending on which way you are coming into Leeds. If the world is a stage... I want better lighting!0 -
Either park and ride, Elland Road or Cross Green,or one of the stations closest to the city centre with parking. No more than about £4 return peak fare.
Woodhouse Lane car park is one of the cheapest in the city centre, but its still £7 a day and a further walk to Park Row than the station.0 -
No such thing. Drive to one of the suburbs where you can get on street parking for free and get a train or a bus.Still striving to be mortgage free before I get to a point I can't enjoy it.
