How are you ultimately coping with going through a redundancy?

Yesterday, starting her 6th week in the job, a colleague of mine was fired. We were in the same team and she only started a few days before me. For a number of reasons, this has got me worried that I will be next very soon. Her dismissal, in my opinion, was highly unjustified. My boss mentioned there was a lack of performance but it came a day after a board meeting where we know he is being criticised on a weekly basis for not hitting targets and making investments (staff, marketing and others) that don't work.
This is my 4th job in 6 years. My first job after university I had for 3 years and enjoyed quite a lot. It was stressful the vast majority of the time and my boss was an idiot, but I enjoyed interacting with clients, solving challenges and so on and only left for an increase in salary. Started the new role, very similar to what I mentioned above, and enjoyed it up until the point I was made redundant.
Scrabbling around for a new role (have a mortgage to pay), I accepted one of the first job offers. Did not like the company, moved on a year later to where I am now. Only problem is, this role is looking like it will also be short-lived the way things are going. I feel that I am in a spiral triggered by this redundancy and for each new job I have lasting less than 2 years, the harder it will be for me to get a new one.
I just wanted to hear about others peoples experiences getting through a redundancy, especially where you were made redundant from a job you enjoyed. Are you still looking? Did you have numerous job until you found the right one? Have you even found the right one yet?

Made redundant three times, each time ended up in a better place.
Relax and go with the flow. Circle of life and all that.0
