We always call into Wong Kwai on Wardour Street, the place is legendary for it's 'service' and great food... the duck is lovely.

Haozhan was reviewed in another broadsheet and got a good review.

Depends what you want to eat?

    Dim Sum
    Westernised Chinese meal
    or what the Chinese eat

Hmmmm not sure I'd agree the food is great but the service is definitely legendary!

Ok, for a late evening meal it's passable.. we always drop in after a show when we've had a couple of drinks and the set menus offer decent hot fresh food and the duck we had last time was actually pretty good.
If the meal is going to be the highlight of your night and you want exemplary service and real Chinese food go elsewhere.

yes defo wongs several floors in this chinese cafe and well used by chinese folk which is a good sign as to the quality of the food they only take cash and good value especially for central London............highly recommended. And yes of course the "service" speaks for itself and is one of its "attractions" shall we say...........but heh we keep going back,
I am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.
  • crispy duck. it's a few doors down from wong kei.
excellent value for money and full of chinese people eating. always the sign of a good authentic meal.

Fung Shin in Lisle Street is probably the best, although expensive. I would also recommend London Hong Kong, also in Lisle Street or H K Diner in Wardour Street

    Don't go to Fook Sing!

I had terrible food poisoning after I ate there! AVOID!

WongKei is cheap and good, I usually go to May Flower in China Town, you'd better to book in advance ,,,,
