Netting, citrus peelmake the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
My friend collects citrus peel, dries it (on radiators or in greenhouse) then puts it in food processor and grinds until fairly fine. It's then sprinkled all over beautifully dug front garden.... however this has to be done every few days..... yes, keeps cats away but extremely labour intensive!
I think she has tried the cat cut outs with reflective eyes and the infra red beam with noise and I assume they don't work........Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!

My first thought too.
However if it's definitely cats, my Mum swears by mothballs dotted around.

I can recommend the old fashioned children's windmills, (on a stick , with the top bit that goes round in the breeze, they cost around 50p, and my neighbour bought them on a trip to the seaside, but they may be available online too?) My neighbour has a raised bed, that is full of very fine soil - cat heaven! Since she "planted" the windmills in between plants and in areas of bare earth, no more cat problems.0

I was in the garden centre today they had bags of dehydrated lions poo, it said a little goes a long way. It was £9.99.
In the flower section they had a plant that flowers, there was a big sign overhead that said it stopped cats from pooing on gardens. I can't remember what it was called but it had big silver coloured leaves and blue flowers. I think it began with a c.
Also I did read somewhere that men's urine sprayed around the area detracts them, if it could be foxes they apparently do not like this one.0
