Powers to enforce a CCJ over 6 years old

Hi,
Apologies if this has already been covered but after a long search through old threads I couldn't find anything similar.
I have 2 CCJs dating back to 2010. They are not longer showing on my credit record but I am aware that they technically still exist. Both creditors have recently obtained my new address and are writing to me. To the best of my knowledge they have not attempted to enforce this order forcibly to date (through my earnings/bank account etc) . My understanding is that after 6 years has passed they have to go back to the court to ask for permission to use this order.
Does anyone know from past experience the likelihood of the courts granting this permission? Just trying to gauge whether they are just going to continue writing letters in hope (and that's it) or whether it's likely to escalate in to something more serious, I owe both around £12k each.
I know this will depend partly on the creditor but just wondered what experience other people may have had.
Thanks so much for your help!

The court will want to know why, and obviously not being able to find you is a good enough reason. £12k is no small sum, but it depends on the creditor what enforcement routes they use0

You probably owe more now because of the tracing fees, interest, additional charges etc lol.0

I am wondering how you got on, did they attempt to enforce? I am also in a situation where a debt company is still chasing after 6 years0

The OP logged off over a year ago, 16 minutes after their one and only post, never to be seen again.
I doubt they're coming back for updates.0
