Flow Energy: Broken meter saga
Hi All
DO NOT CHANGE TO FLOW ENERGY - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE (SEE BELOW)
I'm in the middle of months of grief with Flow Energy to try and get my broken meter replaced. To start with they wouldn't even respond to me, then I escalated via their formal complaint system. Even then they didn't manage to get back to me within their own time frames.
Over the past couple of months I've now had three failed appointments to replace the meter. On one they cancelled on the day, on two others the engineer turned up without the correct replacement meter.
They seem to have no power to actually deliver on the simple promise of replacing a faulty meter. They quickly blame sub-contractors even though they are ultimately responsible.
Eight weeks have now passed since my complaint and I have just raised it with the Ombudsman, although I'm not sure what good it will do.
If you are thinking of changing to Flow don't. As soon as a problem arises you will be in serious trouble.
If anyone has any advice please let me know.
Thanks
