Hi all,
Recently bought a PAIR of tickets for a Backyard Cinema screening for £49. Payment was processed and I've received confirmation.
However, I've received an email saying that I was only charged for one ticket so I will have to pay another £49 or can get a refund. £49 was the advertised price for a pair of tickets and I'm not sure if I actually have to pay what they now want or if Backyard Cinema are expected to honour what they advertised and I originally paid for - as it was their mistake to put the wrong price.
Any help would be appreciated! (I can post their email if that helps at all)

Says
1 x £46 (Stalls One - Date Night (a pair))
Then gives me the code to scan for entry and a summary of the details used to book0 -
It depends on what the T&Cs say as to when a contract is formed. Automated website transactions aren't usually formed as contract until a real person has viewed it; the email indicates a real person has seen it and is suggesting what was processed was an error.
Your choices are to pay the extra or get a refund. You can also raise this with Consumer Advice to pass it on to Trading Standards, and/or raise it with the Advertising Standards Authority regarding false advertising.
A direct link to the item in question would be helpful. (You won't be able to post a link, so change http to hxxp or otherwise break the link).0 -
I can't find any T&Cs on their website.
Are you planning to see Romeo and Juliet?
I can see, under 'Stalls One', "Date Night (a pair) £92.00 + £6.46 booking fees".
As seen here:
Do you perhaps have a copy of the webpage showing the lower price?
Does your confirmation email confirm the lower price?0
