Lba

I received a parking ticket last year from CPM Ltd. The letter was addressed to my husband as the RK . I've now received a LBA from Gladstone solicitors asking me to pay the outstanding fine or provide an acknowledgment of receipt of the letter & a full written response within 14 days. I previously appealed the charge to the IAS on the grounds of inadequate signage but they rejected it. Now I'm not sure what to do?

How did they get your name as the driver?0

They haven't got my name. They sent it to the RK which is my husband.0

Sorry should make it clear all correspondence has been sent to my husband as the RK.0
-
so nothing to do with you then , you are currently not involved in this legally
the RK should draft a rebuttal to the LBA and respond accordingly , denying the debt
see the NEWBIES sticky thread for details about LBA`s
you can do the donkey work, but the RK needs to be signing and sending0 -
CPM don't usually manage to send POFA compliant paperwork. As they need to chase the driver not the keeper they may have a problem.
I would write to them saying they aren't POFA compliant and the keeper wasn't driving. Do not under any circumstances say who was driving.0 -

You do realise that you have been sucked into a huge scam
approved by government ?
CPM belong to the IPC who in turn operate the IAS ?
Gladstones Solicitors set up and own the IPC ?
See the scam circle ????
You should have a word with your MP and if they are
conservative, ask them why Mrs May says she will crack down
on unfair practices and FAILS to do anything.
If they are labour then they could be the whip to get Mrs May
going on her promises
In the meantime you just sit and wait to see if Gladstones
will actually do anything.
Gladstones are highly incompetent solicitors who are
constantly being whooped in court
Read up on this incompetent Gladstones by searching on
the Parking Pranksters site

Come back here if you get real court papers for all the help you need0 -

You need to read and digest the thread at the top of this forum that tells Newbies to read it. It has examples of replies to LBCs.0 -

no , the RK does , not you
no information is required, simply a rebuttal, a "debt denied" , blah blah
(he (or you) would be a fool to supply them with information when all that is needed is a denial - they wont bother to read it anyway, they are going through the motions)
acronyms are explained in the NEWBIES sticky thread , and as usual google is your friend for anything you dont know , so google it0
