Installing Sky Pay Once Watch Forever Package

I am having Sky Pay Once Package installed on Monday. It's for the kitchen, it worked out cheaper to get Sky than to pay for a new aerial. Does anyone know....
If I'm likely to have any probs when I tell the fitter that it's for the kitchen not the living room (ie is it ok to specify exactly where I want the box fitted)?
If it's ok to have a cable phoneline as the phone connection - I'd like to avoid paying the extra £25 if you don't connect it to a phone. When making the appointment, the guy just asked me if I had a landline, but on the sky website it specifies BT - does it matter which type of landline you have?
Thanks a lot for any advice everyone.
